Few weeks ago, the team of Visitour PH approached a municipality in Bukidnon to help them with their tourism. It is our goal to innovate and transform the tourism industry in the Philippines. We have developed the Visitour PH App to specifically help the MSMEs in the said industry and to help the LGUs.

Recently, our team was able to partner with the Municipality of Kibawe in Southern Bukidnon. It is a rich land at the center of Mindanao that is surrounded in the north by Dangcagan, on the south, Damulog, on the east by the Magpet, North Cotabato, and on the west by the municipality of Kadingilan with Muleta River serving as a natural boundary.

The municipality of Kibawe is said to be rich because of their agricultural products. They have an abundant farmland that produces different grains. Their main agricultural products are rice and corns which also became one of their sources of income aside from fishing.

Kibawe may be a small town, but it can offer a lot of destinations that travelers would love to visit. These travel destinations are also one of the reasons why Kibawe is considered a rich land. They take pride on these beautiful tourist spots that are yet to be discovered by Filipinos and the world.

One of the famous destinations in the town is the Miabo Cave and its waterfalls inside the cave. It is located at Sitio Kisulop, New Kidapawan of Kibawe. Miabo cave is a cascading waterfall inside a five-layered cave that can surely brings nature’s vibe into any people visiting the place.

Another tourist attraction they have is the Sibunga Falls that is around 60 feet high. It powerfully drops down from a river bordering the deep forested areas of Barangay Bugwak of Dangcagan and Barangay Old Kibawe of Kibawe, Bukidnon.

However, if you are not into nature tripping, this town also have other tourist destinations that is perfect for you. They have the ‘Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Parish” at Sayre Highway in Poblacion of Kibawe. People can stop by here to offer their prayers and at the same time take a picture of the church itself.

Have you not heard any of the travel destinations mentioned? Sadly, this is the sad truth that the provinces, municipalities, and cities in the Philippines are experiencing. Many people including Filipinos are not aware of the other tourist spots that are not that famous.

That’s why the Municipality of Kibawe took a bold step for their future. They have revolutionized the way they do tourism in their town. The government officials of Kibawe believed in the power of technology to improve their tourism by partnering with Visitour PH.

The Municipality of Kibawe started a revolution to digitize the tourism industry in the Philippines. Now, their town is registered on our app and their destinations will have more exposure to Filipino Travelers who are using our app. They are now one step closer to their dream of making Kibawe the main hub of Bukidnon which is what Mayor Reynaldo Rabanes envisioned for his municipality.

Digital tourism is just one thing that Kibawe LGU is doing, because as of this writing, Mayor Rabanes and his team became aggressive with their infrastructure projects like the construction of the Municipal Swimming pool, Tennis court, Kibawe Market Stalls, Kibawe National High School- Poblacion Campus, Kibawe Function Hall and the groundbreaking of the Kibawe Municipal Gymnasium with a 3,000 seat capacity.

They also developed livelihood programs, community trainings, and healthcare programs for his constituents because as we all know, we are not yet done with COVID-19. We are still in the aftermath of pandemic and we cannot stop from securing our health.

Our team will work hand in hand with Mayor Rabanes of Kibawe to promote their town and these projects they are developing for sustainable tourism. We will help erase the stigma of fear in Mindanao by showing that municipalities in this region like Kibawe is safe and it has a lot to offer when it comes to tourism.

Kibawe is just the start, and we will not stop until we help all the 82 provinces, 1,489 municipalities and 146 cities of the Philippines. We will not stop in promoting the Digital Tourism in the Philippines because this is the future, and we will help you cope with this paradigm shift in the industry.
